We believe that the 66 books contained in the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and inerrant in their original writing. God’s Word shows us how to live a life devoted to God. We believe in one God, who exists in the persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and who is all-powerful, all-knowing, and always present. We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son, who came to earth as God in-the-flesh to pay the penalty for the sins of all people, and that outside of Him we cannot experience a right relationship with God. We believe that salvation comes only by grace through faith in Christ, and that faith is shown through the response of belief, confession, repentance, and baptism into Christ. God promises that we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit when we are immersed into Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit must live within us to maintain a relationship with God, and that He produces fruit in our lives in the form of actions and attitudes that indicate He is present. We believe that the Church is the earthly organization responsible for fulfilling the mission Christ gave us to make disciples of all nations. The Church is a community with a mission! We believe that Jesus Christ will return for His Church one day, and that everyone who follows Christ will be with Him forever in heaven while those who don’t know Christ will be forever separated from Him in hell. We also believe that “There is nothing you can do to make God love you any more, and there’s nothing you can do to make God love you any less” (Max Lucado).
